An ancient city in Aksu

Perge, in Antalya’s Aksu district, brings together traces of different periods. Hellenistic towers and public buildings developed in Roman times help reveal how the city changed. Known for architecture and marble sculpture, Perge invites you to explore streets and shared urban spaces as well as individual monuments.

The colonnaded street and water channel

Two main streets establish the city’s east-west and north-south axes. Walk beside the columns and water channel to look more closely at its urban layout. The Hellenistic gate, agora and baths

The Hellenistic gate and towers are a useful stop for recognising different building periods. The agora and market area, together with the South Baths, can add a sense of everyday life to your visit. Choose the structures that interest you; for a shorter route, you may prefer to concentrate on the gate and main street.

The ancient theatre and stadium

Perge’s theatre and stadium are two distinct buildings designed to bring large groups together.
